Remote Control Malfunction
1. Check the remote control batteries
Verify if the batteries in the remote control have power. Replace them with new ones and test if the remote is transmitting infrared (IR) signals properly.
2. Confirm if the infrared remote control is transmitting signals
Follow the steps below to check the IR signal transmission:
a. Open the camera app on your smartphone and switch to video recording mode. Point the top of the remote control toward the camera lens.
b. Look at your phone's display while pressing any button on the remote control.
c. If you see the emitter on the remote control lighting up on the phone screen, the button pressed is transmitting a signal properly.
Note:
1) Some smartphone cameras filter infrared signals. If this is the case, try using a different device.
2) If no buttons are pressed but the infrared light is visible, a button on the remote might be stuck, interfering with the normal function of other buttons. Follow these steps:
a. Remove the batteries.
b. Press and release each button several times to ensure the stuck button is freed.
c. Reinsert the batteries and test the remote control again.
3) If only a specific button fails to light up the emitter when pressed, that button might be damaged.
2. If the remote is working normally but the Google voice button does not respond
Perform the pairing operation to re-pair the remote control with the device.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue. Replace the remote control with a new one.
