My TV Won’t Turn On

If your TV isn’t turning on, try the steps below. Check after each step to see if the issue is resolved;

1. Check the Remote Control: Ensure the remote is working. Replace the batteries if needed. 

2. Clear Any Obstructions: Make sure nothing blocks the remote’s signal to the TV. Point the remote directly at the TV’s sensor and press the power button. 

3. Use the TV’s Power Button: Locate the TV’s power button (usually on the front or side; refer to the user manual for details).

If it doesn’t work, try these:

  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the TV. 
  • Check that the power outlet is working.
  • Unplug the TV for 2-3 minutes, plug it back in, and press the TV’s power button again.

 4. Check the Power Indicator Light:

  • Flashing Blue Light: Disconnect all external devices, unplug the TV for 2-3 minutes, and then reconnect it.
  • Sound but No Picture: In a dark room, shine a flashlight at the screen. If you see a faint image, it’s likely a backlight issue—contact customer support. If the TV still won’t turn on, the issue might be internal (e.g., mainboard or power supply). Please contact customer support for help.
